For flashes of joy

Once I get hooked on something, I dive in all the way.

For the past couple of weeks, nothing else existed as I poured myself completely into building new apps.

After finally deploying it to the site, I took a short evening nap to catch my breath. Waking up and casually scrolling through my feed, I came across a short video of a cello and violin duet.

"Ah... right. I'm human," I found myself whispering in awe.
(YouTube Shorts)

Art, indeed... feels like a gift that humans give to one another as we navigate this dynamic world.

The comments on that video echoed my exact thoughts. I had been thinking the same thing—"Is it just because I'm getting older?"

I couldn't stop the tears from flowing, even with a smile on my face.

It wasn't "I can't help falling in love"

it was truly "I can't help tearing up." :)

It reminded me of what Hollywood actor Robert Redford once said in an interview:

You have to realize that life is sorrowful.
Life is sad. But it has flashes of joy.

We aren't human because we are weak;
perhaps we are human because we can be vulnerable.

No matter how intelligent or powerful AI becomes, it can never be vulnerable like a human, nor can it shed tears.

It cannot experience those fleeting flashes of joy.

Nor does it understand that humans don't simply live on those brief moments of happiness—

we dedicate so much of our time and devotion just to bring those very moments to life.
